Essential Skills and Success in Apprenticeship

Essential Skills and Success in Apprenticeship was prepared as background to stimulate discussion at the November 2001 meeting of the Canadian Council of Directors of Apprenticeship in Ottawa. The task was to highlight essential skills – reading, document use, numeracy, problem solving, etc. – define the issues and report on solutions or responses where they exist.
